The Virtual FlyBox iPhone application is a virtual Colorado fly fishing guide designed to help Colorado fly fishermen and woman select the best flies based on their location, season and time of day. It was created to help them have a more successful Colorado fly fishing experience.
After the user selects a location, season and time of day, the application provides a list of flies. For each fly you will find an overview of its entomology which will help when setting up your rig. You will also find an expanded list of flies organized by entomology type. Additionally the Virtual FlyBox and associated website provide a list of local fly fishing shops to help with your fly and equipment needs, instruction and guide services.
